LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast Expands With Longstanding Local Team
LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast has scaled-up to better service clients in the city’s south through the strategic merger with longstanding commercial specialists Black and Young.
LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast Director Dan Alexander announced the expansion this week, saying the move strengthened the agency’s capacity across retail, office and industrial markets. The expanded business will operate from the existing Black and Young office at 1/18 Park Avenue Burleigh Heads as LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast, servicing clients across industrial, retail, office, development sites and more.
Burleigh Heads-based Black and Young, led by Adam Young, has enjoyed a 32-year history in the city’s south. It's been responsible for many of the southern strip’s most prominent development site deals including the White Horses Apartments in Burleigh Heads ($22m) and the old Burleigh Theatre ($18.5m).
Mr Young said linking with ‘the most impeccable real estate brand in Australia’ would benefit sellers and landlords, with many of the latter having entrusted their assets to him for multiple decades.
“The systems and tools in LJ Hooker Commercial are second to none,” he said. “Our team has always offered premium market knowledge and advice to our sellers and investors and will continue to do so with the support of the best tech, marketing tools and training in the industry.”
Under their leadership, Mr Young said LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast set new standards for commercial property service in the southern suburbs.
“When I first started, Burleigh Heads was just a sleepy beachside strip. Now it’s one of the top property markets on the East Coast”.
“Local, interstate and international investors have been wanting to get a foothold in here for the last 20 years and I see no way of that abating. There’s still plenty of upside on offer in the area and the rest of the southern Gold Coast and Dan and Brett are delivering exceptional guidance to their clients in this pivotal period.”
Mr Alexander said the expansion was in line with the business’ growth plans.
“Adam and his team have been influential in the region’s commercial property market for many years and their experiences and connections will support our growth trajectory,” he said.
LJ Hooker’s General Manager of Network Stephen Mutton said the new partnership was another quality addition to the brand.
“Adam holds a wealth of experience in the city’s south and the two offices share the same values toward first-class client outcomes,” he said. “This is a major milestone for LJ Hooker Commercial Southern Gold Coast which will propel their growth even further.”
LJ Hooker’s Head of Commercial Tom Donnelly said: “LJ Hooker Commercial’s proposition is resonating with more and more seasoned business operators who recognise the efficiencies and solutions we can offer to support growth”.
