Third-Generation Property Leader Becomes Director of LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba

Leading Toowoomba property specialist Chris Stewart has been appointed General Manager across LJ Hooker’s group of agencies in the region in a move to facilitate growth and diversification.

In the appointment, which spans LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba and Southwest Queensland, as well as LJ Hooker Toowoomba, Mr Stewart becomes a full Partner and Director alongside his parents, Mike and Julie. The husband and wife team have been influential figures across Queensland’s commercial and residential real estate sectors for 34 years.

In his new role, Chris will oversee day-to-day operations in Toowoomba and Western Queensland, while Julie continues to lead Property Management for both commercial and residential properties in Toowoomba and throughout Queensland. Mike remains CEO, overseeing the group’s comprehensive business operations and special projects.

The Stewart name has been synonymous with real estate in the Toowoomba region for over three generations. Chris’ grandmother, Claire Stewart, was a well-known and beloved Toowoomba real estate icon in the Darling Downs over several decades.
